Paula McIntyre Saturday 25th April 12 to 4pm in the Farm Shop!

 

Celebrity chef Paula McIntyre  will join us in the Farm Shop for a celebration of local food and as always brighten your day with a bit of craic, expert tips and extensive knowledge! There will be a cookery demonstration from Paula every hour commencing 12 noon until 4pm as she creates an array of savoury and sweet summer treats using the finest product from local NI suppliers.

12 Noon – Summer Snacks

• Glens of Antrim crisps with bagna cauda
• Creamed cannellini beans with poco picante salsa and flatbreads
• Papa’s minerals drinks

1pm – Summer Salads

• Smoked mackerel with beetroot and apple slaw, horseradish dressing 
• Grilled shawarma chicken thighs with chickpea salad and curry yoghurt

2pm – Desserts

• Waffles with rhubarb, candied popcorn and Draynes ice-cream
• Gingerbread Tiramisu with oranges  (using Papa’s ginger cordial) 

3pm – Barbecue with Marquess Meats

• Hotdogs with Marquess meat sausages, chorizo relish and chimichurri sauce
• Grilled rump steak, red onions, wild garlic potato salad 

We will also have local supplier tastings throughout the day and pottery demonstrations from CH Pottery from 11am to 5pm so you can taste first hand the products that we love when we are ‘Loving Local’ in the Farm Shop.
