Join us for an evening of celebration for Coleman’s Award Winning Head Baker, Avril Glass to acknowledge her IFEX win as All Ireland Professional Baker of the Year 2024.
You’ll enjoy a celebration of hand crafted cuisine, prepared by Avril & Paul Glass, our executive chef and pick up some great cookery tips as you have a set 4 course menu, with a bottle of wine for 2 included.

Avril & Paul’s theme for the IFEX awards was ‘Local Foraged Food’ and its connection to Irish Bakery History. Paul & Avril tied in the theme by using foraged ingredients, something that has been done for thousands of years – local people using local ingredients.
This can be seen throughout the menu, from traditional turnip and parsnip in soup; hand picked wild garlic for pesto; locally sourced Irish chicken supremes; wild gathered mushrooms for the risotto; locally grown vegetables; through to the ingredients for the trio of desserts; hand made barnbrack for the bread and butter pudding and home grown rhubarb and fresh local berries.
The ticket only event on Thursday 29th August at 6:30pm will be held in the Garden Centre restaurant and tickets cost £35 per person.
