Thanks to everyone who joined us last night at our Award Celebration Showcase Evening
A BIG THANKS to everyone who joined us last night at our Award Celebration Showcase Dinner for Coleman’s Award Winning Head Baker, Avril Glass to acknowledge her IFEX win as All Ireland Professional Baker of the Year 2024.
We had a fabulous evening enjoying a celebration of hand crafted cuisine, prepared by Avril & Paul Glass, our executive chef, who gave us some great cookery tips as we had our 4 course delicious dinner and wine so the biggest thanks of the night goes to them.
…. and so to the individual thanks starting with The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Neil Kelly who joined us and presented Avril with a bouquet of flowers from the council to acknowledge her success and help present the cheque to Valerie Guthre and Alison Adams from the Alzheimer’s Society who attended on the night.
We must obviously acknowledge the fabulous efforts of the kitchen and bakery teams behind the scenes for the fantastic food and the front of house staff led by Kealan Sherry for the impeccable service on the night.
Thanks also to our Garden Centre Team legend Sharon who organised the raffle with the help of donations from our retail partners here at Coleman’s Garden Centre and Farm Shop Manager Gareth who was always on hand to lend support and finally Derek from Johnson West Co for the sounds, audio and music provision.
The night itself was managed by Laura West and her team in a seamless operation from start to finish – these events require considerable planning so to Laura and the team behind the event a huge ‘well done’!
Finally our thanks as always go to you our customers who attended on the night to once again support a very worthwhile charity. Your generosity never surprises us as you always dig deep. It was a wonderful celebration and the support for our chosen charity the Alzheimer’s Society was overwhelming as together we raised £1,330 on the raffle – your continued support is always appreciated.
