ALAS ROWAN AND DEREK ! COMING SOON TO A BUTCHERS COUNTER NEAR YOU …DON’T MISS IT !

Now when Rowan arrived to the butchers counter at Marquess Meats recently with a rather let’s say ‘he made sure he got his moneys worth haircut’ his son Travis pointed out it might cause confusion with customers between Rowan and Derek so we thought we’d organise a photograph to clear this up.

So that got us thinking and those of you of a certain vintage will remember fondly a British comedy sketch TV series that ran for four series in the mid 1980’s called Alas Smith and Jones starring Mel Smith & Griff Rhys Jones and later as Smith and Jones for six series in the 1990’s… I loved it!

So let Marquess Meats introduce you to their own version called Alas Rowan and Derek .. hope that’s cleared that up for everyone and Rowan is the one on the left and Derek is the one on the right or is it the other way around?

… I’m blaming Travis as now I’m confused.. If any of our followers out there can help provide clarity we’d love to hear from you.
